Wireless DMX solution sold in pairs
Zero Wire DMX is a compact wireless DMX solution, enabling wireless control of any DMX device (dimmer, LED fixture or moving head). The system operates via Wifi, on the international licence free Industrial Scientific & Medical Spectrum (ISM) within the 2.4GHz spectrum.
Each box can be set to work either as an encoder or a decoder.
In encoder mode, the unit takes in DMX and converts the data into Ethernet packets and then routes them via the Wifi network system. In decoder mode, the unit receives Wifi Ethernet packets and converts them back to DMX. Multiple Decoders can listen to a single encoder, giving a truly versatile system.
Using the 2.4 GHz spectrum, either as a point to point, or point to multipoint solution, Zero Wire DMX has achieved wireless data streaming distances of over 5Km.
The system can work either in Ad Hoc mode, where the transmitter simply talks directly to the receiver, or in Infrastructure mode, where the system routes the data via a standard (off the shelf) Wireless Access Point (WAP). The system can be purchased with a preconfigured Wireless Access Point, although any off the shelf WAP can be used in conjunction with the Zero Wire boxes. Utilising a WAP gives extended data range, so is recommended in circumstances beyond a simple point to point system.
